The Wheaton-Naperville Chapter of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago
2018 LUMINARIA SALE
The Wheaton Chapter of the Auxiliary of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago wishes to thank all those who supported its 49th annual Luminaria Sale fundraiser this past December, especially the following individuals, neighborhoods, and businesses for their participation and support of the luminaria tradition:
-Buikema's ACE Hardware Stores for selling our luminaria sets and gift sets at both Wheaton locations, including Patrick Zurek, manager of the South Wheaton store on East Loop Road, Elise Eisner, manager of the North Wheaton store on North Main Street, and the staff of both stores;
-Carlson's True Value Hardware on East Liberty Street for selling our luminaria sets and gift sets, especially Mark Carlson and the store staff;
-Schmitt’s Landscape Company and Mark Schmitt for the donation and delivery of sand for the sale in Arrowhead;
-The Arrowhead neighborhood, especially hosts Dan and Honey Swinford, and other Arrowhead residents who have helped with our sales for more than 20 years;
-Our numerous and faithful volunteers who coordinate luminaria sales within their individual neighborhoods;
-The Virgilio family, for another year lighting up the steps of Wheaton City Hall with luminaria on Christmas Eve;
Most of all, we are grateful for the hundreds of donors, big and small, and for all of you who lit up your streets and neighborhoods, resulting in a beautiful expression of community on Christmas Eve.
Through your caring spirit and generosity, you have helped the Infant Welfare Society provide the essential medical, dental, developmental, and behavioral services needed as a foundation for a healthy and productive life. Thank you for giving the gift of good health to disadvantaged children.
With sincere gratitude,
2018 Luminaria Chairperson
