Bean Soup Sets

Dental Kits

In February the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago promoted Children's Dental Health Awareness month, as sponsored nationally by the American Dental Association. To support their efforts to raise awareness about the importance of oral  health, the Wheaton Auxiliary assembled 144 bags of dental supplies for the families serviced by the Angel Harvey Clinic in Chicago. Our thanks to Bauer & Bauer Dentistry and Orthodontics, in Wheaton, for donating dental supplies and also to Marina Smolov from Crest/Oral B, who donated 144 tubes of toothpaste.

Ways that Members Help Support the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago

Dr. Sheila Hall, from the IWS's Angel Harvey Clinic in Chicago, is committed to dental health. She provides dental services daily and makes a point to inform parents about the many ways to keep their teeth, as well as their children’s, healthy and strong.

Thanks also to members Char Connell and Jean Blumthal for chairing this project and to Kathy McKenna for securing a donation of pediatric dental items for the good bags.

Bags of dry ingredients to make bean soup were assembled and delivered to Infant Welfare of Chicago's Angel Harvey Clinic to be distributed to families being serviced by the clinic. Thank you to our member Julie Hickey for coordinating the Bean Soup project.
